Policies for Discover Alaska Lodging

Age Requirement: Guests renting our units must be over the age of 25.

Payment: A 100 percent deposit is collected at the time of purchase. When you book your reservation, your credit card will be charged the entire amount of your reservation. 

Cancellations: Full refunds are given 60 days before check in, 50% 60 days before check in, no refunds given 30 days

Damage Deposit: a damage deposit of $500 will be collected when the reservation is made. It will be returned within 10 days if there are no issues during your stay.

Registered Guests: You must register all guests and follow the maximum allowed for each unit. A $25 per guest per night fee will be added for any unregistered guests.

Arrival: All units are self check in with a secure code. We ask that you let us know an estimated time of arrival and estimated time of departure. Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. There is a $25 per hour late check out fee.

Privacy: We respect the privacy of our guests. We live nearby and are here to give you as much service as needed. We are available around the clock if needed. We access the house only if there is an emergency or something requested. Occasionally we will be at the units for outdoor maintenance. We would like you to feel at home and respect the property as your own.

Non-Smoking: All of our units are non smoking properties. Smoking of any kind inside any Discover Alaska Lodging structure is strictly prohibited. Smoking is not allowed on the property. Failure to comply with the policy will result in a $200 cleaning fee charged to the card on file. By booking with Discover Alaska Lodging you expressly agree to follow this policy and understand that you may be subject to the cleaning fee if evidence of smoking of any kind is documented by the Discover Alaska Lodging staff

Pets: No animals of any kind allowed in any of the Discover Alaska Lodging Units. A $200 extra cleaning fee will be charged to the card on file if there is evidence of pets by the Discover Alaska Lodging Staff.

Neighborhood: all units are located in residential neighborhoods and quiet hours are from 10 pm-8 am. We expect guests to behave in a manner appropriate for a neighborhood. Violations of this requirement will result in eviction from the house with no return of any rental fees.
